Lot 1180: 3 Antique Turkmen Weavings, Ersari and Yomud

Three (3) Antique Turkmen weavings, all wool on wool, including an Ersari trapping, an Ersari torba, and a Yomud Torba, all woven in colors of red. Sizes include 5 ft 2 in x 1 ft 2 in, 4 ft 6 in x 1 ft 6 in, and 3 ft 8 in x 1 ft 8 in. All last quarter 19th century.

Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION:

The Yomud Torba with losses to the top center, overall good condition. The Ersari weavings with losses to fringed ends.
