Five (5) antique Turkmen Torba weavings, all wool on wool with traditional designs and woven in colors of red, blue, and cream, including: an Ersari Torba, 4 ft x 1 ft 5 in, circa 1875; an Ensari Torba, 5 ft x 0 ft 11 in, circa 1875; a Yomud Torba, 3 ft 8 in x 1 ft 2 in, circa 1870s; a Yomud bat wing Torba, 2 ft 10 in x 1 ft 2 in, circa 1880s; and a Tekke Torba, 3 ft 8 in x 1 ft 6 in, circa 1870s.

Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION:
1st item: moderate pile wear, losses to fringe. 2nd item: overall good condition. 3rd item: uneven wear to the fringed end. 4th item: overall good condition, losses to one fringe end. 5th item: repair to one long edge, sides have been restitched.
