Two (2) Middle Tennessee stoneware pottery jars. 1st item – one (1) five-gallon ovoid form honey pot with a stepped rim and incised 5 (denoting capacity) on shoulder. 2nd item – one (1) lidded preserving jar. 17 1/4" H and 9 5/8" H. Both pieces late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard H. and Kathleen L. Hulan.
CONDITION: Large honey pot slightly misshapen, preserving jar with chipping around the rim and an associated lid.
