1st-2nd items: Pair Old Sheffield 3-light candelabra, S-shaped arms remove to convert to single candlesticks, gadroon decoration to edges of base, shoulders, and removable bobeches, tapering shafts and circular bases. 19 1/4" H x 20" W x 6" D. 3rd-6th items: Four (4) Old Sheffield candlesticks, each with reed and ribbon detailing to shoulder and base and a tapering shaft on a circular base. 10 1/4" H x 5" dia. 7th-8th items: Pair gilt washed Neoclassical-style candlesticks with oval bobeches; each having ovolo detailing to base, shoulder, and cup; cable decoration to base; and a tapering shaft on an oval base. 12" H x 6 1/4" W x 4 7/8" D. All pieces unmarked. Late 18th to 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Raymond White, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st-2nd items: Both with general use wear with scattered surface scratches, pitting, and showing pink at some edges. One candelabra with bend to both arms and old repair to one arm. One candelabra with bend to one bobeche. 3rd-6th items: All with general use wear with scattered surface scratches, pitting, and losses or tarnish to finish on bases, overall good condition. 7th-8th items: Both with general use wear with scattered surface scratches and small dents, largest measuring 1/8" x 1/4".
