Large Chinese Famille Rose porcelain ginger jar, one side decorated with various birds amongst trees and in water, and the other side with a calligraphy poem or inscription. Unmarked and fitted with a black wooden lid. The jar is also fitted with a hardwood stand. 16 3/4 in. H x 10 1/4 in. dia. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE:
The estate of Annette Eskind, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION:
A couple of shallow chips around the rim edge of the jar, otherwise overall good condition. Wood lid with losses to black paint.
