Continental school oil on canvas maritime painting depicting sailboats floating in the ocean under a blue sky with purple clouds reflecting across the surface of the water. Signed illegibly, "L. K–g" lower left. Housed in a contemporary ebonized wood frame with a gilt filet. Sight: 19 1/2" H x 27" W. Framed: 25 1/4" H x 33" W. Mid to late 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Light craquelure. Otherwise in very good condition with no visible retouching. Frame with light wear.
