Two (2) sterling silver hollowware items, including one (1) Gorham round platter with beaded edge, monogrammed LWG, inscribed 1911 to underside, stamped with maker's mark, Sterling, A7768, 11 IN, and date mark for 1909 (11" dia.); and one (1) lattice-pierced bread basket with Roger Williams Silver Co. and Loring Andrews & Co. hallmarks, monogrammed M and B, stamped with maker's marks, Sterling, and 4325 to underside (2 1/8" H x 12 1/8" W x 6 1/2" D). 28.995 troy ounces. Both items first quarter of the 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Michael and Peggy Mahoney, by descent from the historic homes of Clarkland Farm at Bryan's Station and Cherrycote, Lexington, Kentucky.
CONDITION: Both items in overall very good condition with scattered surface scratches. Both pieces monogrammed.
