Large Louis XV style rosewood center table with shaped top, conforming base with elaborate carved and gilded acanthus and foliate designs at corners of apron extending to the knees, shaped apron with gilt carved acanthus and foliate carving at center of each side, shaped cabriole legs with gilt carved scrolled acanthus feet. Apron and cabriole legs with continuous carved channeled edges, the outer channel edge gilded. 31"H x 50 1/2"W x 33 1/2"D. Late 19th century, French. Provenance: Estate of Bill Zarnon, Gatlinburg, Tenn. Condition: Some restoration/regilding of foliate carvings, old separation to rosewood veneer on side apron, varnish cleaned in some areas of apron, minor indentions to rosewood top.
