Grouping of four (4) European boxes including two (2) English burlwood veneer tea caddies with domed tops, two inner compartments and brass mounts; one (1) English burlwood veneer tea caddy with domed top having a brass shield and three interior compartments; and one (1) small Continental round mixed woods box with inlay to the lid depicting a cherub with a goat pulled chariot and mosaic inlay around the body. Ranging in size from 1 1/2" H x 3" dia. to 6 1/2" H x 11" W x 6" D. Tea caddies are 19th century, round box is late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: All boxes with expected use wear including minor scattered losses and wood shrinkage.
