A collection of twenty-one (21) George Cress (American/Tennessee, 1921-2008) nature studies and other drawings in pencil, charcoal, and ink on paper (one on artist’s board), c.1946 – c.1990s. With Cumberland Island, Georgia, and Ogunquit, Maine subjects, among others. Includes depictions of plant life and other nature subjects, plus two drapery studies. Some signed and inscribed, all with museum accession numbers en verso. Housed in a paper sleeve. Sheet dimensions range from 17 1/2 in. x 12 1/2 in. to 8 in. x 5 in. Sleeve: 22 in. x 17 in. W.

CONDITION:
Overall very good condition. Some sheets with toning and handling wear primarily to edges.
