Two (2) Central or South American sterling silver hollowware items. 1st item: Sanborn urn or chalice with bulbous body and tiered foot. Maker's mark, Sterling, and "Made in Mexico" stamped to underside. 6 5/8" H x 6 3/8" dia. Mexican, early 20th century. 2nd item: Low bowl with lobed body and rope design surrounding well having inset 1869 Peruvian Silver Sol coin with REPUBLICA PERUANA LIMA 9 DESIMOS FINO Y.B. 1869 and coat of arms, oberse, FIRME Y FELIZ POR LA UNION UN SOL, reverse. Unidentified maker's mark RPA, Plata Sterling 925, and Peru stamped to rim. Combined weight: 17.745 total troy ounces; primarily sterling but also includes .900 silver coin weighing 0.729 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Both with minor scattered surface scratches and minute scattered denting.
