Antique Central Asian Sayrk Chuval rug, wool on wool, with 17 full or partial guls on a brown field with geometric and solid borders. Woven in colors of rust, blue, brown, and cream. 3ft 2in x 5ft 5in. Circa 1890’s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with little pile wear, and minor losses to corners and margins.
