Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Chuval rug, wool on wool, central deep rust or brick red field with three rows of three guls, plain red lower elem panel. Woven in colors of rust, salmon, blue, red, and cream. 3ft 6in x 2ft 7in. Circa 1880's.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Minor repair to lower right fringed edge, otherwise very good condition.
