Antique Ersari Chuval Turkestan rug, wool on wool with multiple horizontal bands of geometric decoration on a red field. Woven in red, blue, and cream colors. 5ft 8in x 3ft 4in. Circa 1880’s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, with even pile wear. One very small area of repair approximately 1/2 inch.
