French Empire gilt bronze sculpture depicting a mother seated in a chair with a shield in her left hand bearing the bust of a man and her son standing to her left side, both attired in Classical clothing. Mounted onto an oval variegated rose marble base. Unsigned.  10 1/4 in. H x 10 1/2 in. W x 6 in. D. Late 19th century.

CONDITION:

Some scattered minor oxidation to gilt patina, overall very good condition.
