Giovanni de Martino (Italian, 1970-1935) bronze bust of a scugnizzo or street urchin with a small cigarette pursed between his lips, early 20th c. He wears a necklace with a cross and pendant with the Madonna and Child flanked by saints. Signed “De Martino” to left shoulder. Affixed to a marble base. Bust: 12 3/4 in. H x 8 1/4 in. W x 6 1/2 in. D. With base: 17 1/4 in H.

CONDITION:
Overall very good condition, with negligible exfoliation to interior. Some areas with very faint gilding. Adhesive residue to marble base.
