Lot 1116: Antiques Persian Beluchi or Baluchi Eating Rug

Antique Persian Beluchi or Baluchi tribal eating rug, wool on wool, central rust field with serrated design to each margin, three primary borders with geometric designs, and striped elem panels to the top and bottom. 4ft 8in x 3ft 1in. Fourth quarter of the 19th century.

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: Top margin with old seam repairs, center with fading or abrash, a couple of small areas of repair, and some minor scattered stains.
