Persian Kirman or Kerman rug, Lavar design, central blue ground with an elongated medallion design, foliate spandrels on a cream ground, all within three primary foliate borders. Wool on wool, woven in colors of red, blue, teal, cream, and pink. 5ft 0in x 3ft 6in. Mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with even, scattered minor staining, loses to fringe on each end.
