Lot 1113: 2 Rugs, Tekke Torba Flat Weave & Afghan Baluch

1st item: Afghan Baluch rug, wool on cotton, with a central radiating stylized diamond design, woven in colors of brick red, blue, brown, gold, and cream. 3ft 8in x 3ft 3in. 2nd item: Turkmen Tekke Torba flat weave with long fringe, wool on wool, woven in colors of brick red, blue, and cream. 4ft 3in x 1ft 4in. Both rugs Late 19th/Early 20th century.

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition with minor losses to both fringe edges. 2nd item: Wear to the top edge and both upper corners with repairs.
