Early Ohio corner cupboard, walnut primary, poplar secondary, in the original seafoam green paint; one piece construction. Top with flat ogee cornice and dentil molding, over two doors having 16 panes, ogee medial molding, canted corners, lower double paneled doors transitioning to a base molding with straight bracket feet. Found in Circleville, Ohio. 93 1/8" H x 55" W x 28" D. Circa 1800-1810. Provenance – Lexington, Kentucky area collection. CONDITION: Upper cornice molding replaced along with both returns with later added paint. One return of medial molding replaced along with right foot facing. Overall general wear and losses to paint. 2 glass panes on right door are cracked, 1 pane is missing on left door and some glass panes and glazing have been replaced. Pulls replaced.
