1st item: Large Chinese export Rose Medallion porcelain punchbowl, featuring alternating bands of figural and floral decoration, with bird decoration and gilt highlights throughout. 6" H x 14 1/2" dia. 2nd item: Chinese export Rose Medallion porcelain mug with polychrome enamel decorated vignettes depicting figures in a courtyard setting and a twist handle, gilt highlights throughout. 4 1/4" H x 3 3/4" dia. Both items Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Property from the Collection of Jo Ann Cline Yates, Lookout Mountain Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Moderate surface wear including losses to enamel decoration and gilt, especially to rim and center interior of bowl. 2nd item: Wear to gilt and some minor hairline separations to handle, slight loss to polychrome enamel, and one minor area of loss in vignette.
