Depicted standing on a rock and dressed as a warrior with armor and weapons in each hand, all atop a carved pedestal base. Text to back of base references General Sanshi, one of the Eight Yaksa Generals in Buddhism. 19 3/8 in. H x 7 in. H. 19th century, Edo Period.
CONDITION:
Scattered losses to paint decoration and to the flames in the halo. Overall light grime.
