Italian Neoclassical carved alabaster sculpture, now mounted as a lamp, depicting four fully formed cherubs frolicking around a column. Raised on a round pedestal with grape vine motif and laurel leaf carving out foot. Sculpture: 19" H x 13 1/2" W. Overall: 39" H. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Very good condition with minor wear, most noticeably around the edges of cloth and toes. Base drilled for new wiring, functional. Does not include a shade.
