1st-5th items: Five (5) Thai silver jewelry items, including one (1) gorget necklace with engraved butterflies and fish surrounded by scrolling foliate decorations with geometric dangling charms or bells and one (1) pair of matching earrings, as well as two (2) hollow bangles with impressed linear and scrolling foliate designs. Unmarked, but tests sterling. Ranging in size from 2 3/4" W to 14 1/2" L. Combined weight: 4.905 total troy ounces. 6th-16th items: Eleven (11) Siam sterling silver jewelry items depicting Buddhas and bodhisattvas, including two (2) necklaces marked "amfarco" and "sterling"; three (3) bracelets marked "sterling"; three (3) brooches marked "sterling"; two (2) earrings marked "925"; and one (1) ring marked "sterling" and "925". Combined weight: 6.590 troy ounces. Gross weight of the lot is 11.495 total troy ounces. Provenance: Collection of Thomas M. Alexander, Greeneville, TN, former U.S. Army Captain Airborne/Special Forces during the Late 1960s/Early 1970s in Vietnam. He became a Central Intelligence Agency Field Officer in Southeast Asia, beginning in the Early 1970s until his retirement in 1994.
