Chinese period lacquer hat or wig stand, octagonal form with lozenge shaped cutouts and gilt bat and cloud decoration to body, fret decoration to upper and lower rims. 17 5/8" H. Probably Qing Period, late 19th century.
CONDITION: Very good condition with some fine crazing particularly to interior, minor wear and some discoloration to gilding, a few small chips to corners and base, 1/2" chip to top edge.
