1st item: Archaic Chinese style bronze lamp made by the Marbro Lamp Company, mid 20th century, urn form simulating cinnabar, having all over raised foliated decoration, a carved and pierced neck and handles and carved base. Fitted with a double light socket and shaped metal filagree finial. Lamp: 20 1/2" H. Overall: 39" H. 2nd item: Small Asian carved gilt painted wooden Buddha figure, seated in a lotus position and anjali mudra atop a lotus form base with carved mandorla. Traces of original polychrome to hair and base. 8" H x 5" W. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of David Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition, Lamp functioning at time of inspection. 2nd item: Overall good condition with scattered losses to gilt paint, wear to lower wood edges.
