Two (2) Chinese items, including an inkstone and bronze censer. 1st item: One (1) carved lidded inkstone with internal ink reservoir and fret border and relief carved lid depicting a bird perched atop a tree. 1 1/2" H x 3 1/8" W x 4 7/8" D. Republic Period, early 20th century. 2nd item: One (1) bronze censer with bulbous rounded base, line designs to shoulder, and two handles. 6" H x 10 1/8" dia. Qing period, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Wear to red-brown color to underside and internal reservoir. 2nd item: Surface scratches and pitting throughout; slight denting to rim.
