Rare Memphis historical publication from 1888, produced by The Memphis Appeal newspaper (1840-present). Contains biographies and two-color portrait etchings of many prominent Memphis mayors, along with a history of the city; with multiple pages of 19th Century advertisements for goods and services. Unpaginated, 35 leaves (70 pages) of unknown number, but appears complete. Folio, 14 3/4 x 12 in. 

CONDITION:

Binding loose, 35 leaves present. Toning and soiling to front cover, some chipping throughout.
