Five (5) Chinese carved jade and hardstone figural items, including one (1) jade with russet inclusions carving depicting a duck with its head turned backward holding a water lily plant in its beak; one (1) jade carving depicting two male figures standing in a narrow boat, one holding a large koi fish and the other depicted propelling the boat using a long oar, accompanied by a fitted carved lotus hardwood stand; one (1) jade carving depicting a pair of mirrored foo dogs; one (1) hardstone oval seal with carving depicting a male figure straddling a koi fish with surrounding waves; and one (1) hardstone teardrop-shaped seal with carving depicting a smiling Buddha figure with elongated ears dressed in a robe holding a necklace. Ranging in size from 1 1/4" H x 2 1/2" W x 3/4" D to 3 1/8" H x 4 1/4" W x 1 1/8" D. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: All pieces in overall good condition with minor surface scratches to hardstone seals; foo dogs having a small chip to surface, measuring 1/8" L.
