Two (2) Continental decorative porcelain items. 1st item: Royal Vienna hand painted plate with classical female figure seated at an easel with paint palette and brushes completing a landscape painting surrounded by gilt foliate and bird designs on alternating blue and red ground. C.M. Hutschenreuther Royal Vienna Beehive makers mark to underside. 9 1/2" dia. German, late 19th century. 2nd item: French gilt bronze mounted pierced compote with cobalt glaze, fleur-de-lis medallions, foliate scroll handles, and foliate base on four feet. Unmarked. 11 3/4" H x 16" W x 12 7/8" D. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Peggy Lambert, Maryville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Minute wear to gilt rim. Hairline to underside rim measuring approx. 2" L. Minute fleabites to base. 2nd item: Two areas of previous repair to porcelain compote with corresponding hairlines, largest measuring approx. 3 1/2" x 4 1/4". Base has added felt pads.
