Collection of 38 antique photographs including tintypes, daguerreotypes, and ambrotypes, most in gilt mattes, some with gutta percha frames or half cases. One man’s photograph is in a brooch case frame and there is one gem sized unframed portrait of a child. Also includes a small carved Masonic symbol, 1 1/4 in. H. Sizes range from gem sized to sixth plate size. All 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville Collection.
CONDITION: Varying states of condition, some with discoloration and losses. Brooch has break to back and missing clasp.
