Vincenzo Renzi (Italian, fl. 1953-1972) micro mosaic enameled picture depicting a woman in a long dress with upswept hair seated on a hillside and holding a red parasol. Signed “Opus V. Renzi” in mosaic lower left and en verso. Carved silver gilt frame with distressed/painted finish. Panel: 14 in H x 11 3/4 in W. Frame: 16 in H x 14 in W. Note: Vincenzo Renzi was a Master Mosaicist at the Vatican Studios.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Billie Ann Smith, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Very good condition; some slight wear to frame.
