PROVENANCE: The collection of Dr. Lewis Pendleton Armistead, Nashville, by descent from his mother, Patsy Ann (aka Eliot) Thompson Armistead. CONDITION: Some losses to inlay on front bottom corners and loss to front left bun foot, scattered cracking and lifting to veneer. Shrinkage cracks on front left marquetry panels and both interior side panels. 2 cordial glasses are later replacements and do not have gilt details.
