Continental gilt carved rococo console table with shaped white marble top over a conforming base, apron with pierced foliate carvings, mask carving center and each front knee, raised on four foliate carved cabriole legs and ending in an acanthus leaf scrolled foot, legs are joined by a shaped cross stretcher with carved shell center encompassed by foliate surrounds. Paris, France storage label on back of frame. 37"H x 58 3/4"W x 21 1/2"D. French or Italian, late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Estate of Bill Zarnon, Gatlinburg, Tenn. Condition: Cross stretchers with minor repair and gilt restoration at intersection with legs. Minor abrasions to marble top and gilding on lower base.
