3 Early Kentucky Coin Silver Tablespoons, each with plain fiddle handle marked AB in cartouche for Asa Blanchard, working Lexington c. 1808-1838, mark used prior to 1820 (ref. Marquis Boultinghouse, SILVERSMITHS OF KENTUCKY, p. 299). All monogrammed G and measuring approximately 8 3/8" L. Combined weight: 5.4 oz troy. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Cora Jane Spiller, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
CONDITION: Wear to tips of bowls and some light scratching, minor tiny dents, end of one mark shows wear; overall very good condition.
