Chinese celadon glazed porcelain octagonal form vase lamp with gilt bronze mounts, having vignettes depicting male and female human figures and character marks including the symbol for Longevity below the elephant mask handles, the mounts with incised and pierced decorations including bats, knots, and symbols for Longevity, all mounted on an octagonal form wooden base. Fitted with a double light socket. Includes one (1) associated acorn form finial. Overall with base: 25 3/4" H x 7 3/4" W. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga, TN collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Bronze mountings are slightly loose and with light oxidation. Functional at time of inspection. Does not include shade or harp.
