Two (2) German polychrome porcelain bird figures perched on parcel gilt tree stumps with foliate forms, including one (1) Dresden parrot depicted with raised crest, marked with blue makers mark to underside (13" H x 5" W x 4 3/4" D); and one (1) macaw, marked GERMANY to underside (12" H x 7 5/8" W x 4 7/8" D). Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Parrot with repaired break to bottom of bird having corresponding tight hairline along the circumference; minute hairline to back of crest measuring 1/2" L. Macaw with minute fleabites to feathers by face.
