Four (4) European polychrome and parcel gilt porcelain figures. 1st item: Ernst Wahliss (Austria, 1836-1900) for Royal Vienna "Fahnrich" figure depicting a bearded flag or standard bearer in military regalia resting an Austrian flag across his shoulder upon a naturalistic base. Stamped with Wahliss and Royal Vienna makers' marks and impressed with "Wahliss" and numbering to underside. 9" H x 5 1/8" W x 2 3/4" D. 2nd-3rd item: Two (2) Chelsea figures seated upon naturalistic stump with foliate forms on a rocaille base, including one (1) male figure with floral shirt playing a bagpipe with a dog seated by his feet and one (1) female figure with floral skirt playing the mandolin with a lamp by her feet. Both with Chelsea gold anchor maker's mark. Both approx. 10" H x 9" W x 5 3/4" D. English, 18th or 19th century. 4th item: Old Paris figure depicting a cavalier with half cape and sheathed sword upon a naturalistic base with rocaille forms. Faubourg St. Antoine maker's mark and "Made in France" to underside. 9 1/8" H x approx. 4" square. French, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition. 2nd-3rd items: Scattered minor losses to foliate forms. Both with minor firing cracks, largest measuring 3/4" L. 4th item: Previous repair to scabbard with corresponding glue residue.
