Large Japanese Meiji or Taisho period silver urn form vase. The body with engraved and raised decoration including Mt. Fuji and a masted ship. Inscription to the lower side of the body reading "Happiness, Prosperity, and Sword", the base with Jungin mark indicating pure silver plus additional hallmarks. XRF tests 99.9% purity. 10 3/4" H. Early 20th century. 22.74 troy ounces.
CONDITION: Multiple scattered dents to upper shoulder and body and surface scratching and wear commensurate with age and use.
