1st & 2nd items: Two (2) Japanese double gourd blue and white Seto vases with foliate decoration to the bodies and stylized rims. 10″ H. Likely Edo period. 3rd & 4th items: Pair of celadon porcelain tea or rice bowls, both with blue character marks to the base. 2 1/2″ H x 5 1/2″ dia. 5th item: Blue and white porcelain shaped bowl with naturalistic decoration to the body and bowl and four character marks to the base. 2 1/2″ H x 5 1/2″ dia. 6th item: Chinese export porcelain raised dish made for the Thai market, having a shaped rim with allover foliate designs in enameled colors of green, rust and yellow. 1 3/4″ H x 4 1/4″ dia. All items 19th century or earlier.
PROVENANCE: Private Urbana, Illinois collection.
CONDITION: 1st & 2nd items: Overall very good condition. 3rd & 4th items: Both with light wear to the rims, one with a firing crack to the bowl. 5th item: Overall very good condition. 6th item: Overall good condition with wear to enameled rim.
