East Tennessee, Sullivan County cherry pie safe, poplar secondary. Two dovetailed drawers over two doors with two large punched tin panels in each door and punched tins in side panels, ending in simple turned feet. The punch tin design is a variant of the fylfot within a circle. 53" H x 46 1/4" W x 20" D. Provenance: Descended from the Netherland Family, Gunnings Community, Blountville, TN. Condition: Refinished with minor scratches to surface. Drawers missing the orginal lock but the lower door retains the original lock.
