1st item: Exhibited Charles Henry Richert (Maine/Massachusetts, 1880-1974) oil on board maritime painting titled "Maine Wharf" depicting a sailboat and rowboat tied along a dock with scaffolding and piles of timber before a large boathouse with a distant shoreline visible in the right background. Signed "C.H. Richert" lower right. Sticker label with written title and printed "Charles H. Richert/Linden Street/Arlington Heights/Mass." and two Young Fine Arts 1991 exhibition labels affixed, en verso. Housed in a white-washed wooden frame. Sight: 11 1/2" H x 15 1/2" W. Framed: 16 1/2" H x 20 1/2" W. 2nd item: Claude Buckle (United Kingdom, 1905-c.1973) watercolor and gouache on paper painting titled "The Old Fisherman" depicting a middle-aged man inspecting portions of the net slung over his shoulder while seated upon a wooden boat with an oar at his side. Signed "Claude Buckle" lower right quadrant. Two labels with artist information and title affixed, en verso of frame. Housed and matted under glass in a giltwood frame. Sight: 13 3/8" H x 10 1/4" W. Framed: 23 1/4" H x 19 3/4" W.

CONDITION: 1st item: Minute area of exfoliation lower left edge. 2nd item: Overall very good condition. Not examined outside of frames.
