The work features village architecture in the distant background under a hazy sky. Unsigned. Housed in carved and molded Art Nouveau Newcomb-Macklin style giltwood frame with corner decoration. Sight: 13 3/4" H x 21" W. Framed: 18" H x 25" W. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of James Lewis, Carthage, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Frame with natural wood separation and restoration to corners.
