Three (3) pieces Chinese Porcelain. 1st item: Large blue and white baluster vase decorated with shou longevity symbols, lotus and vines, 17″ H, plus a 2″ H x 10″ diameter wooden stand. Certificate of antiquity dated 16-12-1989 is available to winning bidder. 2nd and 3rd items: Two jars and covers of similar form, one with celadon glaze having blue and white decoration of figures in landscapes, the other with enameled Famille Rose decoration of a processional scene depicting figures flying kites and riding on a dragon. Each jar 9 1/2″ H by approximately 9 1/2″ diameter, with a 2 1/2″ H x 8″ diameter hardwood stand. All items 20th century.
PROVENANCE: A Middle Tennessee Estate.
CONDITION: Baluster vase: wear to glaze at foot ring, some scattered glaze pops, old sticker residue, remnant of old wax seal to side. Celadon jar: a few small chips to lid, chip to finial, some surface and glaze imperfections. Famille Rose Jar: Wear to gilt on finial, some slight wear to surface enamels, scattered glaze imperfections. Stands likely not original.
