Kentucky walnut Sheraton chest of drawers in an old surface, found in the Bowling Green area. Four graduated dovetailed drawers with cockbeading, reeded stiles, reeded base molding over a shaped apron and turned legs. Paneled ends, poplar secondary. 46 1/2"H x 43 3/4"W x 20 1/4"D. Second quarter 19th century. Condition: Two old patches to top and a couple of small patches to edge of top molding, losses to cockbeading on drawers, some drawer sides built up and 20th century interior drawer supports, some locks missing, replaced pulls, scattered abrasions throughout.
