Group of seven (7) Chinese cloisonne plates, all with Imperial dragon chasing the flaming pearl and wave decoration on black grounds, including four (4) matching dessert plates, two (2) matching luncheon plates, and one (1) large dinner plate or shallow bowl. Dessert plates with blue enameled bases and large plate/bowl with etched design to the underside. Ranging in size from 7 1/8" dia. to 10 5/8" dia. All Late 19th/early 20th century. Four (4) Chinese cloisonne items and 1 other. 1st & 2nd items: Pair of censers, both having dragon chasing flaming pearl decoration with foo dog mask hands and gilt metal taotie mask legs. One fitted with a pierced lid with foo dog finial. Both stamped "Made in China" on the base. 7 3/4" H (censor with lid). 3rd item: Ashtray on stand with central matchbox holder, dragon and bat decoration on black ground. 6 1/4" H. 4th item: Small bowl with dragon chasing the flaming pearl decoration on a black ground, base with lotus flower inlay, 2 1/4" H x 5" dia. 5th item: Engraved gilt metal stamp holder with hardstone top. 1" H x 3" W. All items 20th century with the exception of the bowl which is late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville Collection.
CONDITION: Largest plate with heavy wear. Remaining plates in overall good condition with scattered expected wear. Ashtray on stand with bending to the center stem. One censer missing lid. Remaining items overall good condition.
