Two (2) New Zealand, Pitcairn Island, carved folk art wood animal sculptures, including a flying fish on stand marked PARKIN CHRISTIAN PITCAIRN ISLAND and a sea turtle marked PITCAIRN ISLAND. Fish: 3 in. H x 13 1/8 in. W x 4 in. D. Turtle: 3 1/4 in. H x 9 1/2 in. L x 4 5/8 in. W. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Marty and David Black, Rockford, TN.
CONDITION: Both items overall very good condition. Turtle with some wood shrinkage and light scratching to the shell.
