Two (2) Chinese carved rose quartz sculptures, one with "jeweled" bronze stand. Includes one (1) Guanyin figurine depicting the goddess in flowing robe and holding a flowering branch (7" H x 3 1/4" W x 2" D); and one (1) Hawk figurine depicted with a lingzhi in its mouth and perched on a naturalistic base, mounted to a bronze stand with foliate decoration and three inset oval cabachons including two (2) green malachite stones and one (1) red carnelian (7 3/4" H x 3 3/4" W x 5" D overall).
PROVENANCE: Private Williamson County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition with natural fissures. Quanyin with repaired breaks to head, left shoulder, and 2 1/4" section to right side of robe, 1/2" area of loss to back of robe. Hawk with repaired break to back of base, wooden part of stand with two missing legs, bronze part of stand with 1/4" drill hole to one side. Stand is attached, not removable.
