Set of 6 Baltimore classical "Fancy" painted side chairs, with faux rosewood graining and gilt painted decoration of central wreath and acanthus leaves on tablet backs, caned seats, front turned and tapered legs. 31" H x 15" seat depth x 17 1/2" seat width. Baltimore, circa 1820. Condition: Later caning on seats. Nicks and chips on back splats and minor loss of paint.
