Letterio Calapai (American, 1902-1993), “Oxymandias,” 1964, engraving, aquatint, open bite, embossing, and photo plate on cream wove paper. Inscribed “Artist’s Proof” with title, date and signature in pencil lower margin. Framed under glass and ivory mat with natural wood frame. Sight: 15 1/2 in. H x 12 1/2 in. W. Frame: 25 in. H x 21 in. W. Ref. The collection of the Art Institute of Chicago, 1990.465.10.

PROVENANCE: The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville, TN.

CONDITION: Excellent condition. Not examined out of frame.
